How we met
April 2015

We met through a mutual friend. And April 2015, we saw each other in person and started off as very intimate friends. A couple of months later, friendship grew to love and a relationship which has continued to blossom ever since.

The Proposal
November 21 2016

We went for a friend's wedding ceremony in Ibadan. He was the best-man and I had no idea whatsoever he planned to propose at the wedding reception, according to what he told me. But unfortunately, the ring he had ordered for somehow didn't meet up with the plan.
So the next day, which was Sunday, after church we went to Shoprite Ibadan. We finished our shopping and just as we were leaving the entrance security checkpoint, I just saw him going down on one knee. I was so shocked and happy at the same time. He popped the question and I didn't hesitate a second to say YES. People cheered, snapped pictures and congratulated us. It was so sweet and I never really expected he could pull that off.
